    Labelled our child's condition psychosomatic on the first visit.

    Missed collapsed sinus and extreme sinus inflammation due to undiagnosed allergies (found by ENT surgeon whilst fixing the collapsed sinus), and also missed extreme constipation our GP discovered, really obvious on the xray he never ordered.

    For goodness sake, get a second opinion if it doesn't feel right!

    Dr Ryan is a fantastic doctor. He made no fuss of being scheduled at short notice with a referral from our GP. Would hands down recommend him to anyone in Townsville.

    He's all about the kids! I've seen the inside of a few paediatric waiting rooms/Dr rooms & this one speaks volumes! The waiting room is spacious & sprinkled with toys, Dr Pat introduced himself to my 6yo, shook his hand & invited him into his office.
    Other paediatricians did not interact with my child at all before declaring diagnosis! I feel like my child was properly assessed by Dr Pat.

    Dr Ryan saved my newborn premiere sons life in May 1991. He came to the hospital every 2 hours when my son was barely 5 days old. My husband and I were notified he was being transferred to Kirwan from Parkhaven. He’d suffered heart and kidney failure. It was touch and go. My son is now 28, healthy and is a paramedic and fireman. I’m eternally grateful to this man.
